FOLK was born in 2008 from a pivotal moment in founder MADISON’s life. As a technical engineer working closely with veterinary tools, he witnessed firsthand the distress animals endured during grooming. This profound connection ignited his mission: to redesign grooming technology around compassion. Thus, FOLK emerged—a brand fusing precision engineering with deep respect for animal wellbeing.

Evolution of Purpose:

• 2008: Madison founded FOLK in a garage workshop, creating the first low-vibration clipper prototype after 300+ hours observing animal behavior.

• 2010–2015: Launched Series 1 for livestock/vets—featured in smooth

• 2016–Present:
